The first view where the writer states "It is the interest of every man to live as much at his ease as he can." I agree with that statement and I understand this point of view but I am not sure that I agree with the entire viewpoint. Yes, we all want to worker smarter not harder, but I don't believe in not working hard at all and not performing your duties to the best of your ability. You have to work hard to get what you want in life. All successful people have work hard to get to where they are at.
